Impatience Equals Death
Some countries that lift restrictions prematurely pay with a sustained or even higher death rate

Denmark would fall in the latter category. Its death rate is nearly as high as during the winter 2020/2021. The USA too has still too many people dying of Covid-19. Washington State is doing much better in that regard. Britain's incidence is going up again. Should this be the beginning of a trend, the deaths could follow in a month too.

Germany still maintains its still-OK death rate with a tendency to fall. Its incidence is far away from the steep drop seen in neighbouring countries, or even Tunisia.

France is seeing a nice drop in all numbers and will soon lift many restrictions. They might be doing it right but the still-big vaccination hole might make the numbers drop less fast. Spain's numbers are similar.

Corona is probably going to not go away for decades and it is doubtful if any of the three indicators will come down to the lowest point that each country has experienced in the past. Probably not in 2022.

Summary

Daily incidence, ICU occupancy and deaths are 7-day averages per 100K people based on reported numbers.
Actual number might be (considerably) higher. Arrows = tendency.
Daily death projections from 17 February assume the continuation of current measures up to late May 2022.
